As soon as we cross the border, using the horn, waving at us, smiling and laughing become more and more common, as well as invitations to have coffee or soda. While some people have told us to avoid this country for different reasons, we discover splendid landscapes – mountains, lakes, rivers and so on. Admittedly, some places would have been more pleasant without those piles of waste, which can’t be burned on this period because of risks of fires. I also need to admit that drivers, despite their kindness, are very dangerous and policemen by the road are just counting how many accidents happen. But, some frights on the road apart, what we’ll not forget is Albanese hospitality.
